Our well equipped workshop, comprehensive range of servicing options and friendly Cytech qualified mechanic with over twenty years of experience combine to provide a great service at very reasonable prices. Think of us as a health spa for your bike!

Bicycle Safety Check: £20

A bicylce MOT! Our check over ensures that your bicycle is in safe working order and if any components are at the end of their service life we'll let you know.

• Frame and forks checked for defects
• Wheels trued as required
• Brakes adjusted as required
• Tyres checked and inflated to correct pressures
• Nuts and bolts, pedals, cranks, handlebars, stem and saddle checked and tightened to the correct torque settings as required

Bicycle General Service Including Clean & Transmission Degrease: £50

Our most popular service, recommended for bikes in regular use.  Your bicycle is lovingly cleaned, stripped and the oily parts degreased before it's carefully reassembled and adjusted.  Customers have commented that their bike ''looks like new'' after this service, as well as being in excellent working order. If any new parts are required you only pay for the parts, fitting is included:

• Frame and forks cleaned and checked for defects
• Headset and bottom bracket removed, cleaned and inspected before refitting
• Brakes cleaned and adjusted as required
• Transmission components removed, cleaned and degreased, inspected and refitted before adjusting as required. Chain lubricated.
• Wheels cleaned and trued as reuqired. Hub bearings inspected.
• Nuts & bolts, pedals, cranks, handlebars, stem and sadddle checked and tightened to the correct torque settings as required.
• Tyres checked and inflated to correct pressures.

Wheel Servicing

Your bicycle wheels lead a tough life, be it bouncing around off road or pounding along the poorly maintained local roads.  We can help keep them rolling with our complete range of wheel services.  Prices are per wheel.

• Fit new inner tube- £5 (plus cost of tube, typically £5)
• Wheel true - £10 (If new spokes are required we only add the cost of each spoke, normally £1- £2 depending on spoke type)
• Service hub, includes grease and new ball bearings- £15
• Tub fitting- £15 (includes glue, tape can be supplied if preferred)
• Wheel build- £20 plus parts.

Brake Servicing

Prices are for an individual brake unless stated otherwise:

• Hydraulic disc brake bleeding and adjust including fluid- £20
• Mechanical disc brake adjust including new cables - £20
• Road calliper adjust including new inner cable - £15
• V-brake adjust including new cables - £20
• If new pads are required for any brake system we only charge the cost of the pads, fitting is free.

Transmission and Gears

A well adjusted and maintained set of gears makes for a bike that feels fast and efficient.  Slipping gears or noisy chains indicate some attention is needed.

• Fit and adjust front or rear derailleur- £15
• Adjust front & rear gears- £15
• Fit chain- £5
• Remove, clean, regrease and refit chainset and bottom bracket - £15
• Fit cassette- £5
• Fit chainset- £10

Bicycle Building

Its the internet age and here at WyndyMilla we don't get all sniffy if you've snared some bargains online but need a hand turning them into your dream bike!

• Bicycle build from loose frame and components - £60
• Bicycle build from boxed bike- £40
• Strip original bike and transfer parts to new frame - £80

We also offer a collection and delivery service for your bicycle repair.  The cost per round trip is £5 within five miles and £10 within ten miles.
