A bicycle MOT! Our check ensures that your bicycle is in safe working order and if any components are at the end of their service life we’ll let you know.

• Nuts and bolts, pedals, cranks, handlebars, stem and saddle checked and tightened to the correct torque settings as required

Silver Service: £60

Our most popular service, recommend every 3-6 months for bikes in regular use. Same as Bronze service but your bicycle is lovingly cleaned, and the oily parts stripped & degreased before they are carefully reassembled and adjusted.
• Frame and forks cleaned and checked for defects

• Brakes cleaned and adjusted as required

• Transmission components removed, cleaned and degreased, inspected and refitted before adjusting as required. Chain lubricated.

• Wheels cleaned and trued as required. Hub bearings inspected.

• Nuts & bolts, pedals, cranks, handlebars, stem and saddle checked and tightened to the correct torque settings as required.

• Tyres checked and inflated to correct pressures.

Gold Service: £90

A full strip down to frame and forks, recommended every year or so depending on use. Customers have commented that their bike ”looks like new” after this service, as well as being in excellent working order.

• Frame and forks cleaned and checked for defects

• Brakes cleaned and adjusted as required

• Transmission components removed, cleaned and degreased, inspected and refitted before adjusting as required. Chain lubricated.

• Wheels cleaned and trued as required. Hub bearings inspected.

• Nuts & bolts, pedals, cranks, handlebars, stem and saddle checked and tightened to the correct torque settings as required.

• Tyres checked and inflated to correct pressures.

• All other components removed cleaned and reassembled.

• New bar tape and cables fitted. Parts not included.

Wheel Servicing

Your bicycle wheels lead a tough life, be it bouncing around off road or pounding along the poorly maintained local roads. We can help keep them rolling with our complete range of wheel services. Prices are per wheel.

• Fit new inner tube- Free when buying a tube, otherwise minimum workshop fee applies.

• Wheel true – £15 (If new spokes are required we only add the cost of each spoke, normally £1- £2 depending on spoke type)

• Service hub, includes grease and new ball bearings- £15

• Tub fitting- £15 (includes glue, tape can be supplied if preferred)

Brake Servicing

Prices are for an individual brake unless stated otherwise:

• Hydraulic disc brake bleeding and adjust including fluid- £20

• Mechanical disc brake adjust including new cables – £20

• Road calliper adjust including new inner cable – £15

• V-brake adjust including new cables – £20

• If new pads are required for any brake system we only charge the cost of the pads, fitting is free.

Transmission and Gear Servicing

A well-adjusted and maintained set of gears makes for a bike that feels fast and efficient. Slipping gears or noisy chains indicate some attention is needed.

• Fit and adjust front or rear derailleur- £15

• Adjust front & rear gears- £15

• Fit chain- £7.50

• Remove, clean, re-grease and refit chainset and bottom bracket – £15

It’s the internet age and here at WyndyMilla we don’t get all sniffy if you’ve snared some bargains online but need a hand turning them into your dream bike!

• Bicycle builds from new loose frame and components – £90

• Strip original bike and transfer parts to new frame – £120
