Andy Pink

GB Cycling Coach

We support those that trailblaze. Affectionately known at WyndyMilla as ‘Pinky’, Andy is an award-winning cycling coach taking Team GB to new heights.

UNEARTHING A TALENT

‘Pinky’ has been with been with WyndyMilla since working for us in the Spring of 2015. Having worked in a cafe after leaving college he was a dab hand behind the coffee machine whipping up the best Flat Whites in WyndyMilla. We were lucky to secure Andy as the head coach for the WyndyMilla Kids Club.

ACHIEVING A GOLD RUSH WITH TEAM GB

In December 2015, Pinky was awarded the Under 25 ‘UK Coach of the Year’ at the UK Coaching Awards. Working hard with British Cycling, Andy has gone on to coach the GB Cycling team at the 2016 Invictus Games, not only achieving a GB-Gold rush, but meeting Prince Harry and the then US First Lady Michelle Obama on the way.

FROM SEALE TO RIO….

‘Pinky’, under the Paralympic Inspiration Programme was a coach for the British Cycling Paralympic Team that dominated the Rio Veolodrome in the 2016 Paralympics. Andy again headed back to Brazil in 2018 in search of world titles at the UCI Paracycling Track World Championships.

BIKES

Pinky trains on a Massive Attack AL, races on a Massive Attack, and keeps warm throughout the winter on a Massive Attack Track.
