After being a workshop manager at bike shops in and around London for 10 years, he now keeps the operations and booking side of WMP calm and controlled (unlike his riding style). Luke is also apprentice to Sam and is key prep guy.
After qualifying as a Cytech mechanic in 2003, Luke has worked in and managed workshops at independently owned bike shops in London. During that time he developed a passion for racing, whether that be autumnal road hill climbs or snow topped downhill mountain bike events.
He now settles for pure off road mountain biking and has been a coach and guide since 2012. It's modern folklore that Luke knows the muddy parts of the Surrey Hills better than anybody.
Watching the changing shift of trends and styles of cycling grow and shrink, he became a sponsored developer for the NS Bikes freestyle fixie frame, "The Analog" when it was launched in 2009. He has since help run a small company which made bicycle chain jewellery and now manages and works in the prep room at WM Paintworks.
He is dedicated to not only giving the customers an amazing painted bike at the end, but also involving them in the process of designing and developing their concepts.
A true custom bike doesn't always just come from us, it should also come from the customers heart too.
