- new WyndyMilla represents years of work, including development of custom range, dedicated paint studio and world class athletes.
British handmade bicycle brand WyndyMilla has today revealed its new line up of bike models, and summer takeover programmes at the Assos Store and London’s Look mum no hands! Cafe to herald an all-new WyndyMilla for 2019.
The past few years have seen WyndyMilla’s custom bike offering grow and grow from their base in the Surrey Hills. From a one person company to an international custom bike company, WyndyMilla now runs a full research & development team, their own paint studios (WM Paintworks) and employs athletes and ambassadors from across the cycling world. Today WyndyMilla officially unveils its new range, including WyndyMilla’s all new aero road
bike, the Saw Doctor Aero Road and their brand new steel bike, the Massive Attack Steel (ST).
The new Saw Doctor Aero Road (from £4325) is a cutting edge carbon fibre aero road frame designed for all-out speed, with exceptional aerodynamic performance and a refined ride feel. Hand built in Venice, Italy, the Saw Doctor Aero Road’s tube to tube construction guarantees quality and lifetime durability with infinite scope for customisation. Italian bicycle component company Ursus provides prototype integrated handlebars, including neatly hidden internal cable-routing to add to the sleek aerodynamic profile, meaning the Saw Doctor is currently the only fully custom bike with integrated handlebars.
Alongside the Saw Doctor Aero Road, the Massive Attack, WyndyMilla’s most celebrated fully carbon frame, has also undergone a redesign for 2019. Due to be officially unveiled later this summer, the new Massive Attack will once again come in a variety of custom options, including a Superlight and All-Road format.
All of WyndyMilla’s fully made-to-measure range of bikes come with a full professional bike-fit. The custom frames are built from scratch to an individual’s precise measurements and include paint designs from WM Paintworks, WyndyMilla’s in-house state of the art paint studio in the Surrey hills.
Finally, WyndyMilla are proud to announce their first steel bike frame and first bike available in off the peg sizes, the Massive Attack ST (from £2250). A fast, uncompromising, Italian built steel race frame, the Massive Attack ST still delivers a clean aesthetic and excellent ride quality but at a lower price point than it’s carbon sibling. The frame uses premium Italian Columbus steel to guarantee quality and lifetime durability.
The full range of WyndyMilla’s bikes, including the Massive Attack Superlight and Massive Attack All Road will be on show at the Assos Store on Regent St during a 12-week WyndyMilla takeover, giving cyclists the chance get a bike fit, test out the new line up and take part in group rides with the WyndyMilla team. The takeover takes place from 24th June until 30th August.
WyndyMilla will also be taking over the iconic, London based ‘Look mum no hands!’ cycling café, bar and workshop for the duration of the 2019 Tour de France. In celebration of the world’s most famous bike race, WyndyMilla is committed to bringing the UK cycling community together at various events during the 23 days of the Tour, starting on July 2nd.
It’s also not just all about new bikes for the new look WyndyMilla. Following the
announcement of a new CEO in February (former CEO of OVO Energy Retail Chris Houghton), WyndyMilla has grown its family and started working with Olympic Gold Medalist Dani Rowe MBE, alongside new ambassadors including Chris Hall, Keira McVitty, Juliet Elliot and former national road and world time trial champion Emma Pooley.
