Bike Fitting
Cycle Fitting has been an integral part of WyndyMilla’s DNA since the very start.
Included as part of your custom bike journey, or as standalone service, we approach each cycle fit in the same meticulous way. Ensuring equilibrium between you and your machine improves comfort, efficiency and speed, resolving and reducing the risk of injuries.
Each fit starts with an online questionnaire to gather important information about you before you arrive at our bike fit studio in Surrey. This ensures your fit session runs dynamically, based on your unique requirements.
Every cyclist is unique; so is our approach.
“Bike fitting is a human, subjective process, and should have the sound judgement of a well trained individual at its core. I’m a firm believer in the art of organic bike fitting, so each session is uniquely tailored to our customers. This is more than a simplified packaged system, this is an integrated, dynamic, holistic approach. We want to make sure it’s right; that’s why our follow up sessions are free.”
Our bike fitter and bike designer, David Barnes Page, has seven years industry experience, and redefines the recipe of cycle fitting. Building on his knowledge from Specialized Body Geometry Fit programme; mixing it with an academic background from Loughborough University’s Sports Technology Institute; combined with education from the Wolfson School of Engineering; and a lifelong passion of bicycles and bike mechanics since his teens – you’re in the safest hands.
David ensures your cycling position is optimised to provide the most efficient, comfortable, confidence inspiring and advantageously performing rides possible.
David studied Biomechanics of Sport, Analysis in Sports Biomechanics, Structural Kinesiology and Applied Sports Science at Loughborough University’s Sports Technology Institute, and Manufacturing Design, Materials and Manufacturing Processes and Computer Aided Design at Wolfson School of Engineering.
